Waterbox 50 gallon, dry start method, fake Seiryu Stone, ada iwagumi

Attempting dry start method this time around. Let the dwarf hair grass grow out for. couple of months. First time using Fake molded Seiryu stone. Really impressed with the quality and it's awesome that it doesn't mess with the water parameters. We installed a soft water system and this is the first time I'm running a tank were my KH is not 10 degrees. So far things are going very smoothly, and the Utricularia Graminifolia is not melting. I wonder why water softeners (the kind used for auto detailing) is not recommended more often. Also really impressed with the Aquario Neo Flow Lily Pipes with inline skimmer.

Because the water softener uses Salt lol. I have water softener system but still need my RO for my tanks. Not recommended using the water for aquarium.

This one is a salt free system. Same thing auto detailers use. Hardness went from 137ppm to 38 ppm.

For reference could I get a link to your softener? In most cases water softeners exchange Ca and Mg for Na, too much is not ideal as it can be harmful for livestock.
