Aggggghhhh my old BML when kaput

My beloved 60” BML light just went poof…water got in it… anyone know of a repair shop? Is that even an option?

Worst case scenario, what’s a solid fixture at this length?

Get chihiros vivid 2, they are on sale on Amazon

I had bml xb, dutch, etc. Chihiros is by far the best one for the money right now

Would one on a hanging kit be suitable for a 60” long tank?

No way for one. I have 2 for my 120p. And just bought two more from amazon. So two is the minimum for 60" tank

They look nice…last question before pulling the trigger… how is mounting? I have an old school tank with a plastic rim around it… will this impede mounting the units?…I know most now have rimless (which is my next big purchase, but not for awhile )…

Well vivid 2 are hanging lights, sadly the price went back to 320 again lol

Those rats! I’ll just have to work a wee bit more OT… in the meantime, I’ll check out how folks hang them up… I have a couple of beat down finnex lights on it right now.
