New Angel breeding tank set up

Well, after watching 5 pairs of angels spawn over and over again in the big tank- and having only limited success pulling eggs out to raise the fry- I finally set up a tank big enough for a pair to raise them up on their own. They clearly like it, because they laid down a huge clutch of eggs just 3 days after moving in! Fingers crossed, should have some beautiful juveniles soon. All the babies I have raised successfully from the main group have turned out just fantastic- deep orange patches and lots of shine. Wish me luck!

Looks like a proud pair! I've had platinum angelfish spawn in a ten gallon tank and successfully raised over a hundred fry so I get it lol. Seeing as you've been successful with previous spawns and seeing the number of eggs they've given you, I think you're in for one heck of a large family! lol In a good way of course. The parents are gorgeous and the setup is pristine!

I've never had Angels but have always thought about. Looks like a nice set up for them.
