    Fertilizer for shrimp tank

Iím new to shrimp keeping and just set up a neocaridina tank not too long ago. I was wondering what fertilizers everyone uses in their tanks.

    Hey Dylan, welcome!
Normally I just use Controlsoil in my shrimp tanks. it has plenty of nutrients for the plants and you don't have to do much. If you want, you can top it off with some sand or something.
I also have a dirted tank but it is messy if you want to change plants and stuff.

Since your tank is setup, I would just add root tabs if you have stem plants or liquid ferts if you have floating plants

Neos arent' as sensitive you can dose whatever you want. I dose about 15ppm no3 3ppm po4 and 12ppm k weekly. With cardina you want to have below 10ppm of No3 in the water.
