    Paludarium Project

    Hi All!!

Been a very long while since I have posted anything at all. Here is my new upcoming project. 29 gallon Paludarium tank.

It will have a dual water fall, Here are some early pics

Paludarium _01.jpg Simple tank with a 265 gph powerhead - Dual waterfall

Paludarium_03.jpg Plumbing for the dual waterfall.

Paludarium_04.jpg Styrofoam glued, to support the setup

Paludarium_05.jpg Weighed down to secure it to the glass.

Paludarium_06.jpg More foam - for the waterfalls, hardscape to get an idea.

Really step by step set up here. Included is a quick hardscape for the water fall,

At this time, glued the styrofoam for now, now to let it cure for 24 hours.

Till next update, more pics to follow the progression of this build.

    Later!

Not sure yet what plants to add, however, I do plan to include Buce, fire moss, and Anubias nana, just to name a few.
Tropical plants that prefer high humidity.

Usually what you do is you carve the background so you can shape it how you want, and also to expose the inside, which is basically a ton of tiny bubbles that make a better texture for the silicone to stick too. The next step is to smear silicone all over the foam, and press something like cocofiber or a special texture mix into it
