uhhh... kno3 is (N)itrogen, kh2po4 is (P)hosphorus, k2so4 is (K)-potassium. <--- Macros. I hope you are also dosing Micros, because you need to as well. If you don't you will get nutrient lock out as some other elements are needed to complete transport etc.

Yes, I will be dosing micro nutrients as well. Following the macro one day micro the next day schedule. I still don't know if using all of those compounds will build up the potassium though?

I understand that each compound is designed to be the major source of a different nutrients, but do I need to worry about the potassium stacking?

I'm not sure, you're kind of confusing me. I just used a dosing calculator to find out how much I should be dosing for the size tank and co2 range. Then I increased or decreased as I saw what the plants want. From there I found a regiment and stuck with it unless I saw deficiencies then I modified slowly. Eventually I said this is ridiculous and started dosing pps-pro.

Tweaking the scape a little- considering adding another small rock to the left foreground and having the S. repens grow around it. I also found a nice manzanita branch for the back corner- I want to leave it bare and have the stems growing around/through it.

I think both changes will add more dimension to the layout.

I Ordered the same kit that you are mentioning. It came with 2 bottles you fill and mix.. what is nice about these is that you can take off the cap squeeze and pump just the amount you want up to the top of the bottle and dose from there! Super Rad !!

Your in for a real treat with GLA too. There product I feel work a little better than seachem and seachem is the product I grew up with. I completely switched over after watching its results. I guess you can say its personal preference too. some people may see better results with seachem.

It is confusing at first but if you go to GLA website they have a chart on how to dose everything.

    Looking good !!

Thanks! I actually did not get the kit with the mixing bottles because I already have some 500ml bottles of my own.

My frets arrived yesterday- impressed with the quantity you get for the price! I guess that is the whole point of going dry ferts though, right?

I accidentally ordered two of the trace mix, though- didn't notice it was included in the "pack". My mistake. I guess I will have plenty to last me a while!

No, erectus. He is growing out of a terra cotta flower pot in the middle of the big stem tank. He quoted me $3.50 for 3 stems.

Are you going dry dosing(daily or weekly) or to make 500ML bottle solution?

What method are you planning to use EI? Do you have digital scale?

I did not, my tank isn't ready for flooding yet. I understand it is a background plant- if you look at my latest picture, you can see where I plan on putting it. I appreciate you making sure I know, though.

I am hoping to get all my plants through CK at the same time, hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Divide the 5mL dose /2, you are going to end up approximately the same dose with 10 mL.

Pogostemon Erectus can be used as mid ground, just requires a fair bit of trimming. Shouldn't be difficult with the size of the tank just snip on water change day every week.
