Hi everyone, my name is Rob and I live in Aliso Viejo. I keep mostly pike cichlids, the only large cichlid that I have found to tolerate plants. I have a 100g, 3- 60gs, and a 29g, all planted and all housing some type of crenicichla. See y'all around.

Hello! Welcome.
Welp, it's 13 years later and I am back again. I wasn't too active back then but I've been lurking for a few weeks now. I'm finally going high tech and just waiting for my regulator to arrive so I can really get the party started. I'm pretty much just keeping mellow SA communities right now including cichlids. I have a 120 gal semi planted, a 20 gal blackwater, and a 30 gal cube planted.
I'm back in Laguna Beach now and should be here for a while, at least until the mortgage is payed off

Welcome Rob! You’re not the only new guy at all. I’ve been lurking myself and haven’t gotten a chance to introduce myself. Sorry to hijack your thread but my name is Omar and I’m in the Lakewood, CA area. I’ve been in the hobby for a long time but totally new here and I wouldn’t call myseld a pro scraper but I have grown to be very knowledgeable via the best route possible; trial & error
I look forward to learning even more about scale technique and design as I set up new aquariums. ��
