I'd say it is. It's not as bushy as I grow mine, but that will increase as the plant grows. I'm not seeing a lot of ultra yellowing, but keep an eye out for hair algae.
Thanks for the reply much appreciated ... it's only been 2 months ....so I'll wait and watch ....or should I dose liquid fertilizer

With java moss, I've always found that it grows well without fertilizer (the clump I have currently has gone a few months in a 5 gallon bucket without getting proper light, nutrients, CO2, etc).

Don’t mess with it...looks good to me.
It prob get enough nutrients from the fish waste and excess fish food... since it’s a very slow grower, fertz may invite algae...
