Totally random question... Does anyone know where to find a dachshund puppy? My wife wants a dapple long hair dachshund puppy and I've tried Craigslist and facebook market with no luck. If anyone has any suggestions where to start looking, I would greatly appreciate it.
Look for breeders on Facebook groups. My cousin found a beagle group and found a reputable breeder out in SD. Drove out there and paid a pretty penny for one with registered papers and shots and all. But I’m sure Dachshunds exist. I have a black/ tan and brown one. Amazing family dogs.

You can also go to all of the local animal shelters and see. I think I've heard of a situation where somebody was looking to adopt a certain breed of dog and just called to see if any of the matching breed were in the shelter.
I don't have good experiences with dachshunds. Little blighters bit my ankles when I was in junior high trying to raise money for a fundraiser of some sort. Give me cherry shrimp any day....

Check out the SPCA on the web along with the county Pounds. Many a pedigreed dog have been drooped off at the SAPCA,
some need training and usily you will not find any pups. My last dog is a Cocker Spaniel from the Baldwin Park Pound. He is laying across my feet as I'm typing.
