    Anyone can identify these?

    In my friend's pond. They swim but look like super tiny snails. Sorry pictures are bad quality but you can see from spoon scale they are super tiny. I have no idea what they are, but they multiply like crazy.

    They look like pond snails.

    Could be pond snails. Could also be ostracods. Could also also be copepods as well.

    Can you describe the swimming motion for us? Is it jerky? Smooth?
