Pearlweed and dwarf sag in pond?

Hi just had a quick question does anyone know if pearlweed and dwarf sag can be added to a pond?

I have some in my outdoor 60 gallon tank. They survived the winter but I had a heater in there to keep temps above 65

my pearlweed grow very well in pond. with high and low light

I did a little search online and it seems like the distribution of pearl weed is in North America. I wonder how it withstand the cold temperature in winter. Anyone with experience knows?
