Hi everyone,

I am back into shrimp hobby. I am currently looking for blue velvet and crystal red.
I come across these two website. https://aquaticarts.com and https://flipaquatics.com
It seems like they carry good quality shrimp.
I wonder any of you purchased the shrimp from any of these website.
If you did, please share your opinions.
If you didn't, do you have any other websites or reliable source to buy.

I am pretty appreciated any feedback.

Haven't dealt with either, check out www.buceplant.com and blue crown aquatics. Both are SCAPE sponsors and both have quality animals.

Welcome back! I've purchased shrimp from both Flip Aquatics and Buce Plant, and both were good. I particularly liked that Buce shipped from SoCal (I think Flip is out in the midwest) so the shrimp spent less time in transit. That said, I don't think there were any shrimp from Flip that arrived dead.

I like to purchase from Eric over at BuyPetShrimp.com, I have not purchased shrimp from him, but he is award winning and seems to always have wonderful shrimp.

Since you are in Garden Grove, I bought some fish from a guy that is selling out of his house and trying to get big. The site is ocshrimps.com and the price is very cheap for very health shrimps!

Swoof, I can vouch for Blue crown Aquatic, Robin is super awesome when it comes to his quality of shrimp.

However, I would highly not recommend buying shrimp from Buceplant. Worst experience ever. I bought 20 shrimp from them and paid the 40 dollar Express shipment on wednesday, and didn't receive my package the next day. Even worst, the shrimp package was held over the weekend. I contacted Fedex and they inform me that Buceplant did not ship express.

Once I received the shipment on Monday, out of the 20 shrimp, 10 was alive and 3 dead bodies, and other 7 was nothing but shells, since it was consumed by the other shrimps. I contacted buceplant, and you should have seen the response i got from them.

I am just going to file a fraud to my credit card and also BBB for their company.

Just because I am local to them, they thought they can save some money by shipping it FEDEX Ground.
