    Amano jumping out of tank

Just wondering if amano shrimps jump out of the tank out of habit or because they do not like the water parameters.
Slowly one by one my shrimps are suicide and by the time I find them on the ground they are covered in dirt/hair from my dog

I've found 1 or 2 amano dried up on my floor overnight but I didn't see any patterns to water conditions so I think they just got too adventurous. I have glass tops too, so they must've just explored too far beyond the openings for the filter.

They are climbing out from your tank. Because I seen one of mine was climb on the co2 hose.

They do that all the time. They are trying to explore the Universe!

No Joke. 3 years ago, Tank upstairs in my cave. Me on my couch downstairs. Sitting next to me, Amano. I think he was trying to get a beer or something.

Picked him up, put him back in the tank, and he continued to live for another 6 months at least.

    THey're squirelly fellers.

He was quite determined to say the least. That is pretty impressive.

In his/her defense, I am thinking that he hopped out when I had my hand in the tank or near it, landed on me without me realizing it, and didn't start doing that belly flick twitchomotion until I rested on the couch.

but yes. They are very resilient

That's pretty funny. Who knew they were social?
