    Experiment with Ebay Seed

I ordered these seed from ebay (seller from China) and see how well it does for a carpet plant.

This is a result of 6 months. I bottle spray it water every other day and low light for 5 hours a day. No direct sunlight.

You guys think it looks nice? If it does I might add water and turn it into a shrimp tank.

If you add water, it will look nice for awhile, and then they will grow like crazy and suffocate the entire tank. And it is virtually indestructible, so you won’t be able to grow anything else in their, either. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but most of us have tried this already...

Might be cool for some shy fish. They could hide in the shade and stems. Also those might look good in a vivarium, unless they also grow a ton

    Hey Geektom,

That's not bad news. I didn't expect much just try to see how fast it grew. My friend has it in his tank for a over 4 years. The leaf gets big and it turns a bit brown.

I'll let it grow out a bit more and then redo it with real aquatic plants.
