    135G Upgrade

Hi all. I need your thoughts on my 135 gallon upgrade from a 40g breeder.

    Set up:

    135g 24x18x72
    Fluval FX4 Filter
    48 Beamswork Fspec
Mixed mex beach pebbles for substrate (got this from Thompson Building Materials store)

I am moving all my anubias and crypts, shrimp and rasboras from my 40g.

My question is, will the beamswork
Ligh be enough for my anubias? My old light was a Zoomed aquasun t5ho and it works great on my 40. With the 135 being 6 inches higher, does anybody here have success growing them? I am not dosing or using any ferts. Perhaps you could suggest a better cheap lighting solution if this wont work. Also, what other plants can you suggest for this set up? I am thinking of amazon swords too.

The beamswork will be fine for your anubias, and they should be ok for swords, as long as they are planted under lights and you also root fertilize.
I am an old dog trying to learn some new tricks...

Try to get a 72" beamswork, though, if they make them. Otherwise the ends of the tank will be pretty dim.

I really like the wood pieces you have. What type of gravel are you using?
