Best way to tie down plants?

How do the pros on scape tie down their plants (anuBias) onto their rocks and driftwood?

    Zip ties? Fish string?

    Thanks scape!

fish string is a great way to tie down your plants using a thin white fishing line will be a great choice. Less visible to the eye. Otherwise you may also glue down the plants as well if you dont want any fishing line in your tank.

I use super glue or a dark cotton thread. The thread will eventually dissolve and the anubias should be attached with its roots by then.

    Gorilla or crazy glue (gel)
    Zip tie
    Fishing line
    Cotton string(will decay away)
For hardscape you can use cigarette filter and crazy glue and get a cement like bond
For the glue just a dab will hold it on
If you cover the rhizome it may die or have a hard time growing
