    2 logs 1 tank

I just restarted a tank and used 2 big pieces of driftwood as a centerpiece. My question is my water is that tea color and hasnít cleared up. Is this the main hue it will have or will it eventually clear up? Thanks in advance.

Depending on how many times and how long you have soaked the wood may help reduce the tea color. Also the color will stay like tea until you do many water change because the wood is still releasing natural tannins into the water. As you do water change, hopefully the tannins color will slowly be removed.

It’s most likely tannins from the driftwood. with new driftwood you suppose to soak it for a week or so and change water to get the tannins out. Some ppl speed up the process by boiling it

It will eventually clear up over time, but it won't harm the fish either. Some species actually prefer it (although it's far from required to keep most healthy and happy).

Use seachem purigen if you dont like that hue color. It will clear up the water very fast and is reusable (mine is about 1 year old and still does the job well)

Purigen for sure. Big water changes too but 24-48 hours of purigen should do it.

Or you can take the wood out but it in a bucket
And kee pouring boiling water over it
That will take our most of the color
