Best slowly sinking food for tiny small fishes such as chili rasbora & pygmy cory

    Hi guys,

Any recommendation for commercial food that can be used to feed tiny small fishes such as chilli rasbora and pygmy cory? i have hikari micro pellet but it is still bigger than their tiny mouth. If possible, i prefer food that can float around a little bit in the water column so that my bamboo shrimp can get some too

    Thank you

I used to feed my panda cory hikari sinking wafer for catfish, they went crazy for it. However, pygmy cories have very tiny mouth and totally ignored those wafers

I also already have hikari micro pellet so want to try some different brand. Also need food that can be put in my auto feeder so cant go with frozen or live stuffs

    Thx u

If you want to supplement their staple diet also consider frozen baby brine shrimp, frozen daphnia, frozen cyclops, and occasional food for fry (hikari and northfin both are very good). Each are very small... as you’re in Westminster - Tongs would be the closest source for the above.

I put pellets in a pepper grinder for my chilis. I use NLS but you can use anything since you’ll be grinding it up anyway.

I was about to suggest this. That is how I feed my Micro Euro Rasboras, they go crazy for it.

I’ve always went with Ken’s fish food for price and quality. Golden pearls are great for micro fish. https://www.kensfish.com/cgi-kensfis...8ef0503fa8347e
