Baby Brine Shirmp eggs: Which brand do you recommend?

Hi guys just recently started hatching baby brine shrimp for my nano fish, and I am almost out of the starter set they gave me for hatching out the brine shrimp. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations of where I can pick up some eggs with good hatch rates, and or pre made hatch mix?

Curious: what method do you use for hatching? I have had a pain in the butt getting dry eggs to hatch in the past just using a 5 gallon bucket and a air line and sponge filter

I use a 2liter bottle with the bottom cut off, running air hose into a hole in the cap.
Make sure theres enough salt in the water, table salt is fine.

They also seem to do much better with a lamp or light source on them.

I just recently picked up the brine shrimp hatchery dish from brine shrimp direct and it works great. I am also super lazy about hatching bbs. I really don't like the hum of an air stone and I have no real demand for consistency. I use it to supplement my guppy tank whenever I get around to setting up the dish. Its super easy. Add salt water, put a scoop of eggs in, wait over night and feed. If I needed u need to support fry, you would need to run multiple cultures or use a bubble method.

Use a one liter bottle....make it a smooth one....like this...

    https://www.instacart.com/landing?pr...4aAoiqEALw_wcB

Do not cut the whole bottom of the bottle off......leave the "shoulder".

    Buy this:

    https://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/rigid-tubing-05-m

The rigid tubing doubles as bubbler, and as a straw to suck out your BBS from the bottom of the hatchery.

    and this....

    https://www.brineshrimpdirect.com/flexible-air-hose

Two tablespoons rock salt....less if using kosher salt.

    Pinch of baking soda.

    One teaspoon of eggs....these:

    A word of warning......

Feeding live BBS can "activate" dormant hydras in your tank...it happened to me.

Out of curiosity, what are you feeding bbs? Why live, as opposed to frozen?.. breeding???

I am feeding guppy fry........which you don't have to feed BBS to...but hey...Covid 19....needed something to do...and it's supposed to grow your fry faster.

Why live instead of frozen?....The amount you get from a teaspoon of eggs is incredible.

I have a frozen tray in my freezer for occasional use.....but I make about two batches per week.....each batch lasts me about two days.
