    Small white gravel

If anyone knows of any small white gravel, id like to know. I would get sand, but i dont want to deal with all the extra complications it comes with. Ive seen carib sea snowy river gravel, but i can only find it in large sizes

Every once in a while, dollar tree and the like put a decent quartz like gravel in with their fake flowers and plants that i buy.

I just thhrew a bunch of it away when we were cleaning out the garage, but keep your eye on that section.

I have used white pumice (small gravel/pieces couple mm) that is generally listed for bonsai, cactus, succulents, etc. It comes in many sizes. If using the smallest sizes at first a few smaller pieces may float but once water logged it stays down. It looks very natural.

Yeah i just saw that at underwater depot, i liked the gold pearl better. The grain size is perfect too, but its too expensive to get 3 bags of it. Sticking to the amazon one

It is quartz, genuine, roughly 3lb bags. Pretty darn natural.
I tend to pulverize it with a sledge hammer so that it gets nice and fine, but it is good stuff.
