Talking Jolly's Ultum Nature Systems 3n

After a year or two hiatus I am back. A few of you may remember my Fluval Spec V, which I sold awhile back. We all know how this hobby/lifestyle has a way of sucking us back in!

I saw that my LFS, Nautilus Tropical Fish was hosting an event in late January and I figured what a great time to jump back in. I purchased my ticket for the event and showed up and had a blast meeting new people and doing a hardscape in a 3n. The hardscape underwent 3 variations before I landed on what you see in the pictures below. It has been filled for about six weeks now. On to the build...

    Hardscape:
    Ohko Stone

    Substrate:
Ultum Nature ControSoil "regular" capped with "extra fine"

    Flora:
    Hydrocotyle Tripartita
    Bucephalandra Mini Catherine
    Eleocharis Acicularis Mini
    Alternanthera Reineckii Mini
    Anubias Nana Petite
    Mini Christmas Moss
    Java Moss

    Fauna:
    Blue Neocaridina shrimp, 5
Some type of small "chili" or "exclamation point" Rasbora coming soon, 5

    Equipment:
Aqua Japan 7.5w light (7hr photo period)
    Dymax Slim Flo HOB Filter

    Ferts:
Seachem Flourish, 1 pump on Wednesdays
    Seachem Excel, 1 pump everyday

Just trying to be helpful. If you want the hairgrass to spread better, split your clumps in half. Then trim them even in height.

Appreciate the help. I did trim it a week or so after I planted it.

And the tank is now gone, RIP.
