    Fluval co2 bubble counter

So i know the fluval diffuser is absolute crap and will clog, causing the tubing to pop, is the bubble counter just as crappy?

If you're talking about the little clear plastic thing with the black cap, mine's been running for a little over a year now, on DIY and pressurized co2, no problems.

It's the best bubble counter I've used so far, no complaints.

Clean your diffuser by soaking it in bleach over night. Make sure to dry and rinse it properly before using it again. As for the bubble counter if it's not leaking and shows you a rate (faster/slower) then you should be good, you should not base your co2 on bubbles per second. If you need to check the co2 saturation a co2 indicator can help with initial set up, but is not ideal as a long term solution unless you add it's maintenance to your weekly routine.

Reminder, if you soak your diffuser in bleach. Soak it in water with extra prime before reusing!!!!!!
