    Finalizing "The Oasis"- ADA 90P

After too much time lurking and suffering from research paralysis, I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Below is the equipment:
    Tank: ADA 90P
Stand: Custom built "ADA style" stand with matte black formica and interior light
    Filter:Eheim Professional 3e 2078
CO2: 10# tank with dual regulator, dwyer flowmeter, and inline atomizer
    Heater: Inline Hydor ETH 300
Light: Fluval Plant Spectrum LED 3.0

This is the current state of the tank:

I have a good amount of Seiryu stone that I would like to include in the hardscape:

These are some tanks I am using for inspiration:

I'm hoping to find some driftwood and figure out what plants to get at the coming SCAPE meet at Lotus. If anyone has any suggestions before then that would be great! This is my first scape attempt and I need all the help I can get.

Looking good! Have you decided what you're going to use as a substrate?

I picked up some manzanita this morning and put together the following 3 concepts, option 1 being the one I am preferring. You guys have any input? Anything not used Ill bring to the next meet and put in the raffle.

    Option 1:

I kind of like option #3, just put the group of smaller stones around the base of the wood. That would make it look like an island and have some of the wood sticking out of the water. You might need to build up a base to get the height. GL, great start. Keep us updated.

I think any one of them could look great, just depends on what you like. Those are some nice, versatile pieces of wood. Where'd you find them?

I definitely like option 3, it also most closely represents your inspiration, at least in my opinion. Good luck all look like great options.

Thanks for the input. I found a local seller on eBay. You can give him a call to what else he has. I’ll also be bringing unused pieces to this months meet. His number is 818.205.6955 and his name is Justin.

Great start with the equipment. I really like taking the time to set up the equipment just right. The light with no wires hanging over, such great detail. As far as the scape goes, I'm really digging option 1 as well. GL and keep them pics coming.

As of now, my tank looks like this:

    F7FE6EF5-982F-4365-A8EB-1B97DC1AB44F.jpg

I’ve had guppies in the tank for a few weeks and recently started adding algae eaters. Not all the plants are turning out the way I like so I might be doing some rescaping in the near future.
