    Spec V new pump issue

Today I replaced the pump in my Spec V because it seemed to be not flowing as good as it used to. Now the water level in the pump area is lower than the rest of the tank.
I tried adding water but it just goes down. I replaced it with a pump direct from the manufacturer. Not sure how to resolve this, the flow is set to max just like I previously had and just like my other Spec V tank pump.

    Any suggestions?

Sounds like your filter media is clogged.

I had this happen too but I did not replace the pump. I found out I had gunk stuck in the nozzle of the outflow, took it out w tweezers and it worked perfectly, try looking in there it somehow take off the nozzle to see closely.

It just means that your new pump is working with better flow. You need to regulate output somehow so level in the pump area doesn't drop too low. You could poke holes in the tubing that is connected to output section of the pump.
