    Hi @Des275,

Yes, the workshops all filled up within the first two weeks; however I plan on observing and learning as much as I can. And I suspect that since Vin Kutty and Dennis Wong are speakers aspects of aquascaping will be covered in their presentations as well. GSAS hosted Christel Kasselmann about 8 years ago and I am really looking forward to her two (2) talks. It appears that this will be one of the largest, well attended AGA conventions ever; all 30 vendor tables are already sold out as well. Folks who delay registration will likely lose out.

I am planning to head up to Seattle in May! It is nice that it is not actually DURING the Pet Expo this year, which gives a better chance to visit the event.

    Hi @amzreefs,

AGA runs the convention; GSAS as the 'hosting club' does all the local legwork to find venue, menu options, field trip, etc. AGA just today sent out an update to AGA members and this is the current status on the convention:

"This event is looking to be big with over 130 registrations already booked, and a second vendor room added. We sold out of the field trip and both workshops within the first week, the banquet is already 2/3 full -- we may end up selling out the registrations entirely! If you're planning on coming, book now!"

Seriously thinking about attending this year, hows the registration looking? Gotta start planning some things out.
Might be interested in carpooling out with someone for a road trip!.

    Hi @Kole85,

The registrations continue to come in for both the event and the banquet with Christel Kasselmann doing her second talk of the convention. The initial surge of reservations has ended and now the it will likely be slow until the middle of the month when the 'slow starters' start booking reservations and flights.

If you decide on a 'car trip' be sure to have some coolers with you to haul back plants from the all day plant auction on Sunday and the fish you will want to pick up at The Wet Spot in Portland on the way home!

    Hi All,

Registration for the Aquatic Gardeners Association (AGA) International Convention is open, you can sign up here!

The workshops are booked however you can still observe and learn as well as attend all of the talks. There are still a limited number of tickets left for the Saturday night banquet where Christel Kasselmann will do her second talk.

According to the AGA folks this is on track to be one of the largest conventions they have ever had....very likely it will be 'sold out' if folks wait until the last minute.
