It looks totally regal. That picture reminds me of an actual tiger overlooking its terrain from a high rock feature.

I love how the red and the tannins in the water compliment each other

Also this is a baby least killifish, sadly some have died in the new set up... most of them were females, good thing I still have some in my fluval spec 🤣

It took me a while to find the right app for it, but after i unlocked my exposure on my phone with a couple of different apps, i finally realized hownearly as good my phone is at photography as my dslr

Right? But u really don't need apps. Changing/playing with your settings you can get crazy clean pictures. My red bolt gave me a perfect close up.

The open camera app is a better camera than what most phone come with, like being able to lock and unlock your exposure like Nick said. But some phones have some really good cameras.

I got one of these ordered and being delivered in the next week or so, should be perfect for my shrimp.

Wow you guys get some nice pics! Mine are always just blurs. Lol. Fish especially. Sometimes the shrimps sit still and I get some ok ones.

Has anyone tried those attachable lenses that clip on to your phones? I've been tempted to get a set, mainly for the macro one. Wonder if that might be good for tank pictures.

I use the app VSCO to play with lightings and settings. this is the same picture I posted without any edits and exposure. Itís fun playing with lighting and color. @kole that lens looks sick! Post some pictures when you get it! I take pictures with my iPhone 8. Sometimes I move my light back or to the front... sometimes I just sit and watch and just take pictures if anything looks cool lol

My picture detail has gone way up for my reef tank now that i can keep the lense open. And i also can do those silly light traces that dslr made famous 4 years ago.

Macro is often difficult to get a sweet spot, but buy them from the 99 cent store.

I will bring some for auction at ck

The one that I like the most is "long exposure camera" i hate the slider (use a stylus) , but it allows you to keep it open from 1 to 300 seconds

I haven't purchased it yet, but it might have a longer exposure window and a better slider in the unlocked version

Open Camera bypasses the processing the samsung camera API does so you end up with much more grainier photos. Personally I just use the regular camera on my s8+ but use pro controls to lock focus and stuff. Then I edit the photos in Adobe Lightroom after the fact to dehaze it, and color correct it. Maybe use the color mixer to oversaturate certain colors. Makes the photos look great. Always using the highest resolution available on the phone that isn't 4:3 lol.
