    MTS and shrimp

Any downside of having 1290382193812983 of MTS in a shrimp tank? I recently looked at the floor of my tank and during feeding time it's pretty gross how many MTS there are. The shrimp still steal the food and run away to their corners, but the amount of MTS in my tank is pretty alarming. Wondering if I have to get some assassin snails to control the population.

I will take some off your hands. Theyre shells are too hard for my puffers right now but not once they grow more. MTS are actually perfect for full grown green spot puffers. I will send you a pm.

Ya... And that's not even during feeding time... That's why i'm wondering if they have any negative impact xD

I think overpopulation of anything is bad...I know a perfect solution for you tho..... 1: Setup another tank 2: move some MTS over

Ya i was thinking that too. Luckily Kole wants "some" so im gonna try to fish the majority of them out in the next couple days and he can have a weeks worth of puffer food.

Yeah, there are negative effects. It can raise TDS overtime as snails die and their shells deteriorate releasing minerals. They also compete for food. There is a good chance the snails are getting the bulk of biofilm in the tank so if you are having issues with shrimplet survival rates that would be the culprit.

Ya I think so but the ones I got from you way back in the day were ALOT bigger idk why these ones are so small. I added them to help the substrate but now they are the substrate. Lol some of the big ones are still alive in my blue dream tank and they actually look pretty but these small ones are bleh.
EDIT: https://gyazo.com/69ef02869c3a310b5254a4cc2b17fe59 the last 2 alive. They look so much better than those small gray blobs.

I gave you the older larger ones because they were easier to catch blindly in with the tank lights off. ****, they multiplied quickly looks like you have more in that tank than I do in my 75G

Ya im going to set up a trap cause its taking way too long for me to scoop substrate and picking them out xD. Im prob going to reduce the feeding as well.

Misleading thread name (sarcasm for those that don't know) I was hoping for MultiTankSyndrome and shrimp!!! Was expecting 15 tanks with different shrimp in each!!
