Beautiful, love how all the plants are pearling. I see you are using clear tubing on you lily pipes. Where did you get them from?

Thanks, that's constant! And the clear tubing is the one that comes with the superjet filters. You can get from AFA.

Ok so the base board came in for the 30w, and the co2 tank amazingly vanished. Still waiting on more stuff to get the 30w started. Picking up 10 Ember Tetra, 2 Otocinclus, and a handful of Amano shrimp on Wednesday for the 36cm.

    Sorry about the dark picture.

These tanks and stands are so beautiful. I would love to one day open a gallery, and have these on display,

The stands do not work for all spaces, but they have an amazing "look behind the curtain " sort of quality to them.

I love how they show the equipment, so long as it's nice lol. The only thing is wires and co2 tank, but thankfully I am satisfied with how I've minimized it so far. I will most def be adding a 60p or 90p in the future and that will be the wood cabinet. I find the glass stands go nicely with these smaller tanks.

Alright, so I have the power supply that I was missing for the ES-150 that will hopefully be here in next two weeks or so. I ordered through AFA. Also picked up two otocinclus, two amano shrimp, and thirteen ember tetras today. Added them about 8 hours ago and now that I'm back home they are all doing good. Will get some pictures up tomorrow once lights are back on.

Alright. For those of you keeping up with the thread, tomorrow will be day 21. I added all the fish in yesterday and fed for the first time today. Everyone ate and all seem happy and healthy. I moved the light to the back of the tank vs right over the top about three days ago and it seems the stem plants have started to grow up instead of creeping. I did a major trim on the glossostigma this morning before lights came on, dosed the usual 5ml of both Green Brighty K and Green Brighty Mineral. I'm also adding 5ml of Green Brighty Iron every three or four days. Co2 is still at 2 bps and all seems well. I've only done a water change once since I set the tank up, but top off every other day. Water is 100% RO/DI.

I'm thinking another two or three weeks and I'll probably do the first trim on the stems.

Thank you, the stands are actually all starphire glass, which I'm grateful for because of how easy acrylic scratches.

Alright so over the last day or so, I started seeing a little bit of green hair algae and the tops of my Myriophyllum started to get more yellow than green. I did a 50% waterchange today and manually removed the small amount of algae I saw. My assumption is that since the plants are showing significantly increased growth, they have began to chew through the nutrients I was supplying at too quick of a pace due to the high lighting and co2 thus showing signs of starvation and allowing the algae to come in.

With that said, I will start by upping the potassium dose to 2 pumps (2ml) daily for a week. If algae increases but not plant health I'll go back down to 1 pump, and up the Green Brighty Mineral to 2 pumps (2ml) daily. I've also started to dose Green Brighty Iron at 1 pump daily.

All else is well, I got an update today on the ES-150 mesh bag and power supply and it'll be here in approximately 3 weeks. In the mean time, I should be ready for the first stem trim in about a week as all stems are within a few inches of the water surface.

    UPDATE

I think this makes day 26? The addition of the Green Brighty Nitrogen has brought back to color to my Glosso and Myriophyllum so I'm happy about that. I've bumped the co2 to 4bps and fish are still fine so all is good.

Bad news - the ES-300 that is 4 months old had been making alot of noise. I contacted aqua forest and all they did was tell me to clean it, which I had done already. One of the screws on the face of pump is completely stripped so I never could get it off to look at the impeller. It worked for about a month without noise, last night around 11:30 it sounded like it was going to explode. After messing with the filter for an hour in the middle of the night I gave up, swapped the media over to the ES-150, and put it running on the tank. I've got an email sent to Steven again because quite frankly it's getting me annoyed and it shouldn't have been questioned, but replaced the first time.

All life in the tank is doing good, but I still am trying to find 6 or so more Amano Shrimp to put in the tank. The plants are pretty much ready to be trimmed and sold.

Significant growth in less than a weeks time, trimming is definitely needed.

Alright. So I've got this coming in mail - ES-300 Replacement Pump, ES-150 Adapter, ES-150 Media Bag, 3 Unzan Stone, Aquasky 301G, AND ADA KAKU Short, DOOA C02 Count Diffuser, and DOOA Wabi-Kusa Mist.

Picked up a SMC 1/4" Y as well as 2 SMC Speed Control Valves and have those installed from c02 bottle to tanks. Much more accurate than the speed control valve on the regulator.

Should have everything in within the next two weeks, some of it was special order. Once everything is in I'll be able to setup and plant the 30W and then have some fun and plant some of my emersed plants in the KAKU short.

So about four days ago I added 10 amano shrimp to the tank and one of them was really white. Slowly I've been losing a shrimp every night. I did some research and figured the shrimp had muscular necrosis, last night I took three of them that weren't perfectly clear and moved them to a holding tank. One died last night, one has gone super milky and one is still so so. The five left in tank look fine so hopefully I've managed to remove the infected shrimp in time and the other will be well.
