I clicked yes and I even added a comment. Right when I clicked submit, the page would load or refresh and nothing would happen.
Actually I went back to check again and my name is finally added to the list. Must have been some sort of delay. Woohoo! Can’t wait for this meet!

Forgive me if there's a better place to ask this or if the info is available somewhere else (I did a forum search and nothing came up) but are there guidelines for what is and isn't allowed at auction?

I have a couple bare and pre-scaped rimless tanks from projects that never got completed and wanted to know if bringing them for auction would be appropriate (I would be willing to break down the scapes and sell just tanks + sets of hardscape stones/wood if necessary as well).

In particular, I don't want to be doing anything that would compete too much with Peter. I know that a level of competition between items in the auction and the venue's stock is inevitable, but last time I went to the CK meeting one of the specials he ran was on tanks.

Go ahead and bring em, tanks are always welcome. One of my tanks I have is from an auction, and there were like 4 tanks in the auction in the june meet.

Trust me Peter isn't worried about Scape members competing with sales. Over half the items in auction likely originated from his store anyway. Plus his sales have always been pretty ridiculous. Also many of us will likely be spending that auction money we earned at his store.

October will be better . But we are glad to be hosting this one. One thing I worry about is the weather. We have tons of things being donated by vendors like UNS , marine land, dennerle, dr. Tim’s, tetra, aquaticlife and us!! Sale specials will be posted the day before the meet as always. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

I can also bring my portable mister as long as there is a water hose.

As usual, i will probably forget to bring it back home.

More easy ups and put them on the side (south end) would be great for an area to not block the front of the store from other customers. Plus if we can put up a tarp or something to keep the sun off auction items if using the end of the building (since no one parks over in that area).

Now that's someone's brought it up...how does one sell at an auction? Do we have to notify anyone, like an admin, about what we will be bringing and is there a fee? Thx

Next to the meeting button is an auction button. You click that, make a user name and password and then click on add items.
