    New high tech tank

Getting back into it again. Tank will be coming next week. About 40g (40Ē x 16Ē x 12Ē) rimless tank. Custom made from Fujimoto Aquarium.

Filtration is an eheim pro 4+ 600 and still deciding if Iím gonna use a reactor or a diffuser.

Lighting is a green element quad evo 3w led. Very bright light.

Heating the tank with a hydor eth 300 with a Finnex temp controller.

For substrate I will be using ADA Amazonia or controsoil if I can find them. I also have the additives from ada that was a gift from my roommate. Never used them before. Anyone have any input?

Hardscape is redmoor root driftwood. Not sure if Iím gonna get some kind of stone to pair with it.

Stand made by Disco Fan. (Thanks again Jorge)

Will update with new pics when the tank has arrived. My planted tanks before have been focused on fish and Plants. I wanna focus on shrimp this time and Work from there.

Any recommendation for ferts? Iím leaning towards the thrive S by nilocg.

My tap is at 6 kh, 8-9 gh and Ph is about 7.2-7.4. Havenít decided on the Plants yet but will definitely be growing a carpet of either Monte Carlo or eleocharis belem.

PS: The laundry detergent is temporary.

The best part about this Is that it extends outside of the stand. No boundaries.

I've personally heard quite a bit of mixed reviews about fujimoto aquariums, but NEVER in enough detail. I do know that they are generally the best priced, and as long as you give complete detail on the build, they have been known to knock it out of the park.

I really look forward to the longevity of this build, because i feel not many people choose Fujimoto for whatever level of influence they've developed, and so far, this is great.

Havenít moved it outside my room. It was originally placed there together with the hamper before the stand came.

It should fit since the 350 and 600 have the same hose size.

I just got a tank from fujimoto aquarium.... very happy with it... as mentioned above, you’re not going to get an invisible seal, but it’s inexpensive, quickly made, and custom made to the dimensions u wish... my tank was made to be 29” long, 15” wide, and 12” tall... fit perfectly the space I wanted it... $60 bucks... plus, the people running it are very cool too...

Nice! Send me a photo. Didn't we meet at fujimoto one time? Did they use the thicker glass?

We sure did... I’ll send u a pm with my pho number... will be happy to send you pics.... tank’s a lil bit whacked out as my panduro apistos just had babies... parents are hyper aggressive - so some changes coming ASAP ... but happy with the aquarium they made, within a week of ordering!
