Saw a very few at CK, but The Reef in Anaheim always seems to have them in.

They are a fun fish to have for sure.

I have some corydora pygmaeus, but in the past The Reef had some hastatus. I am not 100% sure, but they looked different than the pygmaeus.

I picked up a dozen a Petco a few weeks ago. 99 cents each! Haven't seen anymore since. I need another 10 or so.

Pygmy Corydoras though? Are they that easy to come by now? I remember 2014 I waited almost the entire year to get some Hastus. A+ had sold out and didn't get a restock. at CK Peter sold out and it wasn't until the following import season that he was finally able to get some from his supplier.

I've never seen hastatus in a shop. Looks like I'm going to have to call around more. When is the import season for them?

I would assume around late spring early summer when fish populations explode and species become available for easy catch and import.

I guess I should have know better than to post unless I was ready to just drive out to a store immediately. I called a few places and they are all gone!

Great pick up Mike! The only thing I do not like about them is I have always found them to be a bit fragile and semi picky with food.

They seem to really take to microworms which they grab as the sift through the sand... any sudden change in ph, they tend to go belly up... I’m keeping my in a south/central American themed tank with soft water and ph hovering at 6.3 and no losses... just added a few more and they seem to be doing well.... fingers crossed!!
