    Correct micro dosage of PPS-Pro?

Just received nilocg ferts for doing PPS-Pro. I'm seeing conflicting information on how much to dose the micro ferts (my bag says "Plantex/CSM+B").

http://nilocg.com/dosing/: says to put 40g in 500ml and dose 1ml/10g daily.

https://sites.google.com/site/aquati.../home/pps-pro: says to put 28.6g in 500ml and dose 0.1ml/10g daily.

    Which one is it?

You're not the only one, I got confused at first. At the end i just dose straight to the tank and see which dose is better for my plants. And do it my way.

I compared the one from Colin and Barr report. Both are different dose.

Yeah, I figured I'll start adjusting after a week or two.

I'm a little tempted to do x1.5 or x2 dose of macros right now (day 1 of adding ferts), but have no reference. If you don't mind, what's your tank plant density like and how much the normal macro dose do you put in?

Density?? do you mean my tank capacity?
Im not sure how to measure density, but im using 40B.

I dose more micro now, like 1/2 tsp every other day, but hey im doing a mix of EI method and pps pro. My way of dosing. And I'm doing dutch style with mass plant inside (no hardscape).

Just meant amount plants. For dutch style, it's heavily planted, then (just remembered seeing your tank post).

Na, I just did put-bunch-of-plants-and-see-what-works at first. I think nutrient deficiencies really took a toll on my plants, so started proper dosing yesterday. Main problems are:

    - Baby tears and rotala enie (pretty bad) melting
    - General stunned growth with other stem plants but no melting
    - Micro sword getting over taken by staghorn algae

Here's what it looks like now. I recently took out everything in the left and middle back area over a few weeks. Waiting for the rest bounce back before I move/replant stuff. Really hoping rotala enie comes back because I really like that plant.

Once you dose fertz, youll see a good result of growing. Do some trimming to scape the look.

My enie should growing back in a few weeks.

Collins dose is an estimate based on his Macro regiment for High tech, if you are using his Macro's it's probably best to follow his recommended dosage for Micros as well since he is the one that blends the mix.

I'll stick with Colin's instruction then.
