FYI. There's a HUGE convention in Riverside at the end of October.

    http://www.gsbfconvention.org/

I'm going to go either Sat or Sun. If anyone is interested in carpooling....

I'm sure it'll be special since its their 40th anniversary.

So... did anyone go to movie night?

Looks like I'll miss October's meeting as well. Sigh.

This weekend is the big convention in Riverside.

This is my last call/reminder to let me know if you want to carpool with me on Saturday! Planning to leave my house around 9am and be back mid-afternoon. This means I will probably not stick around for any raffles or auctions they might do towards the end of the day. Unfortunately, I have a bday to get to in SIMIFREAKINVALLEY in the evening so I have to cut out early.

The vendor/exhibitor areas are free (not sure about parking) so I will probably buy a tree or two and maybe some supplies. If anyone from SCAPE wants to ride with me, I'll probably take my truck. Otherwise, I'll be taking my hatchback.

FYI - this thur night is the Baikoen club meeting. It will be a bring-your-own-tree-to-work-on workshop plus event recap and looking forward to things coming up in 2018.

The big show at the Huntington is coming up very soon. I ran into Jules there last year. lol This show has the most vendors and opportunities to enter the hobby with discount trees and supplies.

Thanks Jon good seeing you. I just happen to be there that day Bc I wanted to see all the succulents in full bloom and walk into a bonsai event. I bought two trees 4 months ago and I’m just in the keeping them alive stage lol. I want to organize a SCAPE mini meet at the arboretorium it’s a good 2 mile plus walk of botanical gardens. So that’s coming soon .
