    Nano desktop for shrimp

Hey all, I just recently set up this nano tank on my desk in order to bring some life into my sad, gray cubicle.

I am dry-starting some seeds that are *supposed* to be HC (we'll see).

Once it grows in, could I flood it halfway and keep a few crystal or cherry red shrimp without using other equipment?

My work will be cool with me having it set up with some water, but I may get some push back if I add anything else (filter in particular).

    Thanks!

See if you can do a small sponge filter, otherwise could be okay.

I am using this in my nano shrimp tank. Bought it on ebay for 6-8$ flow is good, I just point it to the glass so the flow is broken and the cholla log breaks the flow more. It's submersible so theres no sound and no water agitation. Add some greater duckweed to the tank for nitrate suction too my tank is 12in L x 6in W x 6 inH

I would suggest using filter (avoiding stagnant water) for planted tank.

I use this in one of my planted tank. Shipped from US.

You should throw some saran wrap over the top to help the seeds germinate + you wanna keep humidity high to make submersed transition easier.

Thanks, yes- I did that after I took the picture.

I don't know what these seeds will turn out to actually be, but as soon as they hit water they became sticky, almost glue-like. Should be interesting.
