    Rose wood roots

I had three rose bushes I no longer wanted. I embarrassingly did not know for sure if rose wood was okay for the aquarium. One quick search showed it as a popular choice. I spent some time digging up the three plants I have. The roots look promising.

Any suggestions on drying them out. I figured hanging them nuin the 100 degree...errrrummm 70 degree weather they would dry out pretty quick while hanging. Not sure if there is an amount of time I should allow.
