Editthe following post is completely erroneous. I wasnt thinking straighr when i wrote it. The loach pictured is a kuhli loach, not a yoyo. :

Aka yo yo loach and Pakistani loach.

As long as you can keep them separated during feeding, they make great snail eaters, but do not keep them, ever, with shrimp.

They also grow close to 20cm long (8 inches)

The Khuli loach is actually different from the Yo yo loach. They don't particularly seem to eat snails (at least, I didn't notice them when I had a snail infestation in one of my tanks) and get to around 8-11 mm (3-5 inches) with mine sticking towards the lower end of the scale.

Man i am doing terrible lately. I have had both khuli and yoyo loaches, and my brain merged the two. Disregard what i wrote earlier. That is a khuli loach.

Buy them because they look cool, but you will never see them again, as they will just dig into your substrate and occasionally stir it.

Thanks you everyone. I love this fish, however, as @Nick Shades said, I can't keep them with my shrimps. They may be eat all my shrimps. NO, I love my shrimps than anything.

Once again, I apologize. I said originally it was a yoyo. It is not. It is a kuhli. I wasnt thinking straight.

Kuhlis might eat shrimplet babies, but they are detritis scavengers and do not normally eat inverts.
