    Seagrass Tank from 2007

Here's pic of my 70 tall 36x15x31+ inches, with 7 inch sand bed and 150 watt 10,000k MH and 2x96watt 6500k CF lights. The tank was up and running for about a year and showed good grow but eventually I lost all the grasses. The tank had 3 species of seagrass, turtle, shoal and manatee. With a CPR overflow sump and skimmer and powerhead to give the tank a swaying grass look.

BTW this forum seems pretty dead and I hope we can move forward and start posting more info on seagrasses and different species of macro algae. I see that I am still listed as the mod on this forum but have not been around for a long time. Hopefully things will pick up as the info on SW planted tanks has greatly increased in the last few years.

My goal one day is to have a 100gal long SW tank with a seabed grass so thick carpeting the bottom. Teeming with copepods, scuds, and misys shrimps. Then plant some dwarf seahorses in it.
