You can post links or whatever from other sites, not an issue here.

If anyone needs snails, come my way and I'll give you all you want absolutely free!!!! I hate them!!! Although I'll admit, they don't really belong in an African Cichlid tank lol.

I have a ton of pond snails in all of my tanks and I don't mind them that much. The annoying part is when I trim and get snail egg sac goo on my fingers. I like that they take care of the waste. I really love Nerites, but unfortunately can't have them anymore as all my tanks are rimless and they are escape artists. Accidentally had two Apple snails that tore through my plants.

If anyone is interested here are some pictures of a snail that was caught by Aldrovanda. The traps can be up to a quarter of an inch across, in my experience.

This might sound strange but we rescue turtles and they love snails -- so I was going to start a couple planted tanks one with snails and another with shrimp as I think they are fun to watch. Can some one tell me some nice looking plants that the snails wont destroy to fast, so i can enjoy them for awhile.

Snails generally eat dead matter, at least mine do. They shouldn't harm healthy plants.

I've been in love with horned nerites every since I first laid eyes on them. So unique and such great cleaners. And even though they lay around on the substrate like they own the place, I'm quite fond of my MTS too. I find them very proficient at churning sand and eating bits of detritus. They leave all my plants alone, so I leave them alone.

I had a blue and ivory mystery snail from petco. I got some barley extract frm CK and they both ended up dying soon after. I still dont know if that chemical was what killed them but they were doing fine for a while before I added that
