wow nice
im glad im not the only one with a black background
Great tank Victor, I can see the green neons are definite schoolers. I gave up trying to find them and recently added 32 espei's in my tank. I couldnt find green neons anywhere. I really like the large stones.![]()
Wow! The Green Neons are awesome. Love the pearling photos too. All around a beautiful scape
Thanks everyonei really do appreciate your feedback. i did amajor trim on the glosso it should bounce back in like 5 days. now i have to clean the algae from the glass and clean the lily pipes. Saul at our last SD meeting Bo bought some green neons at aquatic warehouse, they should be able to get them 4 you.

Looking good Victor. How tall does your glosso grow? I was never able/patient enough to keep it as low as I would have liked. I wanted it to be like 1/2" tall at most, but it kept going to the 1" tall. Although it could be from me cutting and planting the cuttings...
Keep up the nice scaping!
Darren I can get the glosso to grow 1/4 inch tall. It will stay short after about the third heavy trim.

Hmmmm, maybe i didnt have enough patience...haha. Oh well, after the UG carpet Ill give it another try.
Thanks for the info!
Great rocks and great growth. Looks like a rectangular section of a hill cut out and plop in there.
A nice growing background would complete this tank. Something to take away the harsh buzz cut against the back glass.
Beautiful!
I like the "flow" of the tank.
Ok this is due for an update. some of you have asked to see how short the glosso grows. About three weeks ago I ripped out all the hair grass and marelia minutia and replanted the trimmed glosso and kept some of the E. tenellus micro. Due to the heat the metal halides have been on for four hours a day. so the gloss is about 1/2 of the substrate instead of 1/4 inch. i temparaily added a su sun canister filter to test the quality of the filter and to add circulation due to the heat plus a clip on fan. I did a water change but did not brush the stones clean. so they are balck. I have way too many blue endlers and I need to get rid of all of them so lMK. Tonight I will take a new pic and post it.

That looks awesome, I was thinking about doing something with rocks for my new scape.![]()
Thats kind of how im planning on redoing my 120p except im going to use blyxa aubertii for the background plant as well as blyxa japonica for the bushiness on rocks...not sure what carpet plant im going to use...anything but hairgrass because it gets out of control for me! Future fauna 3-4 pairs of dwarf cichlids ember tetras and cleaning crew! Hope mine looks as good as yours!
We need photos Victor, stop holding out on us haha.
The algae on the rocks gives it an aged look. I like it. Just my 2c
Wow, just stumbled onto your thread. GREAT tank. Any updates?

Here are some current pictures. They are kinda dark.
I still have to do an 80% water change trim plants and scrubb the stones, and clean the lily pipes. Then Ill take a better picture.
