I think, correct me if I am wrong, those are the MH pendants sold by www.fishneedit.com . They are a really good deal for sure, and look just like the AquaMedic ones that sell for double the price.

Yes there is, more of a chart thought for how high you hang it the PAR and such.
IDK the values however, but it can be found on other forums pretty easily.
If I find one, I will link you to it, but in a different thread.

Did you build the stand yourself? Those look like AquaMedic pendants to me (with the shields and all), but the FishNeedIt ones also look a lot like that.

Yeah DAN, IIRC, he did get the FNI fixtures.
I am pretty sure that is what Victor told me when I saw him last weekend at "Age of Aquariums", the store in LB where we are going to SCAPE their set up.

Thanks everyone for the complements. So many questions:. Ok yes I got the tank from DJ plus everything else in the picture. I almost bought the Current fixture he had for the tank but I sacrificed convenience over aesthetic reasons :. DJ's light had 2x150watt MH and 4 T5 HO plus moon lights, but I really wanted pendants. The pendants are fishneedit lights with Astralux 8000k bulbs from the group buy. Simon @ FNI was out of stock on these pendants for like 6 months. So I purchased these from Tom Barr. Simon sellls these pendants pretty fast. If someone is thinking of buying one I say grab them now, and he carries 8000k bulbs. Im thinking of getting a 70 watt for my 60P. I think Astralux makes a 8000k 70 watt bulb (group buy anyone).
The stones where bought @ Rosemead gardens about 4 years ago for about $150 Current retail price about $600 but they don't have them anymore . Im thinking of raising the lights up due to algae. I have a 7hr photoperiod, after raising the lights I might be able to have them on for 8-8.5 hrs. I think the algae is more due to me using tap water and not lighting issues. At the ADA gallery the MH pendants are raised alil higher. I will soon install the lily pipes but I haven't bought quick disconnects for them cuz cleaning them with out them would give me a panic attack ::.
The stand was custom made by a friend cuz power tools are not my friends.

    Very cool. I run a 70w over a Mini-M : (but it is a reef tank) and a Tek 4x 24w over my 60-P...

Have you considered either running your power cords up the hanging wires or putting them in painted channels down your wall? like this:

    http://www.azaquaticplants.com/commu...45&postcount=1

    http://www.azaquaticplants.com/commu...8&postcount=19

Then perhaps pulling the spraybar out in exchange for something less visible?

nit-picking aside - very nice job

That is a great idea. I think Im gonna do that. I already have the ADA lily pipes but I want to buy some quick disconnects for safe cleaning. I also have an ADA solar but did not want to spend $500 for another one. I also run 4x24 watt T5 HO Current light on my 60P. I guess we think alike.

Thanks Bo. I added giant hairgrass to the background. it ended up being a mess. The hairgrass just collected algae and the marselia grew tall behind it making it difficult to trim. i also added Dwarf hairgrass and i dont like the look and it is begining to invade my glosso foreground. I just finished drying my arms right before typing this because I was removing all the gaint hairgrass right before the lights turned off. Tomorrow im gonna try to pull out some of the D. hairgrass and replant some glosso. I like the E. tenelus micro/glosso/marselia combo. I guess Im staying with that. I have 65 green neons in the tank but I think they are not enough . Was thinking of adding 30 more but no one around here carries them. Mine were special ordered. They are my favorite fish ever. Alot nicer and smaller than cardinals. Plus the really school together.
