Ph high?
My ph is sitting at 7.3. In the last week I have changed the water 20-25% 3 times and once a week for 3 weeks before that at 10% change. Now water started with tap but all water changes have been with RO @ 6.2. Is this just going to take time to lower ph or is it possible that my “Siri” stone is raising ph. My tank is a 20 gal with a mixture of fluorite and stratum. Tank has been up for almost 3 months with CO2 and about as many plants as I can fit.

Seiryu stone? Yes it will raise ph and gh definitely

Yes. Seiryu stone can raise your pH over time. I'd get wild pH swings with seiryu when I was in college. Water would come out of the tap with a really high pH, and then after the brita filter it would drop to like 6 point something, and then rise back up after being added to the water 24 hours later.

Like the others said, the stone is raising your KH which in turn raises your PH. Most rock will release both KH and GH. I pretty much only do small water changes now on my tanks with pure RO, letting the rocks or crushed coral I sometimes add dissolve and remineralize for me. CO2 will dissolve the rock even faster once it drives the PH below 7.0

I have found over the 60 years that I have kept aquariums that there is very little you can do chemically to change the Ph or KH of an established tank. My question is are fish doing well, are the plants healthy, do you have issues with algae? if every thing is doing well than it is not broken.
