Welcome to SCAPE! Post up some pictures of your tanks and shrimp, I'd love to see them. I'm from the Sacramento area originally (well, an hour inland up 50/80) and used to live off Howe and Hurley after college for a year or so. How are things up there these days? I just checked the weather and it doesn't look to bad right now (no 110+ heat wave or anything) :lol

Hi Eric! Some pets you got there on your tanks. It really is an advantage to live near AFA that you can drive there anytime you want:lol. Unlike us, we have to wait for summer or spring break and about 5 hours just to get there:dontknow. Welcome to SCAPE bro! Glad to have you here.:welcome

Thanks for the welcome. I just purchased a entire co2 system from GLA. Probably going to have a lot of questions. Like, do we need to turn on the light while we have the co2 on?

It takes me two hours to get to AFA D:
And when I bought my 60P I had to carry it down six blocks back to Japanese Town :(

The summer heat this year is awkward. It only went over 100 for three days.

Here are some pictures.

60P - Doesn't look so well. Going to switch out the sticks and add some bigger ones then fill up the corner with 30 narrow leaf java fern.

Orange Eyed blue tiger.

Blue pearls + CRS

Very cool layout and awesome shrimp! What types of shrimp are your favorites? I'm probably going to go shrimp only in my 30c when I get it set up (any day now I hope) and am trying to figure out what types I'd want in it. Those blue tigers look AWESOME! What are the types you've had better luck with? I don't know if I want super sensitive shrimp since it's been nice having the Cherry shrimp do TOO well :lol

Welcome, nice looking shrimp. I have Red Cherries.

The easiest shrimp I ever had was cherries and yellows. Not sensative at all.

If you actually give attention to your planted tanks. I'm pretty sure CRS is going to be ezmode :]

Does 30C easy to work with? I might go pick one up in AFA. It looks really nice :D

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Hi Eric, Welcome to SCAPE!
Nice shrimp. I run my Co2 24/7 with no ill effects to my animals. A drop checker is the easiest way to monitor your Co2 levels.

Ah, okay thanks :D

My HC is yellow and green :( Already have a GLA paintball regulator on the way :D So excited.
